TREKKING PROGRAM

Day1: Arrival in Kathmandu

Arrive in Kathmandu. A cultural evening with folk music and ethnic dancing with a fine Nepalese cuisine at Bhojan Griha . (Optional: One hour Ayurverdic Massage at Tranquility Spa before the Dinner)

Day2: Kathmandu – Pokhara. B

Scenic Mountain drives along the Trishuli River, white water Rafting (optional), cross by river boat. Evening walk to the Lakeside.

Day3: Pokhara to Ulleri (2073m)

Drive to Naya Pool, start trek to Ulleri (2073metres). We follow the bank of the Burungdi stream, up to the valley of Hile at an altitude of 1495metres and Tikhedhunga at 1525 metres.

Day4: Ulleri to Ghorepani (2856m)

Our trek gently ascends up to Banthanti (2250metres) through Oak & rhododendron forest, then towards Ghorepani through Nangeythanti (2460metres)

Day5: Trek to Tadapani (2625m)

Climb up to Poon Hill (3210metre) early in the morning to see the panoramic views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Lamjung Himalayan ranges as well as sunrise on the Himalayas. Then we descend to Ghorepani and trek to Tadapani (2625metre).

Day6: Trek to Chhomrong (2020m)

Today we descend to Kimrong stream through the forest of rhododendron, then to Chhomrong crossing through the village of Gurjung. Chhomrong offers close views of Mt. Annapurna south and Hiun Chuli and virgin peak fishtail.

Day7: Trek to Dovan

We descend to Chhomrong stream, and up to Dovan crossing.

Day8: Machapucchhre Base camp (3200m)/ Or Annapurna Basecamp (4131)

The day is pretty much flexible, if you are tired you can stay overnight at MBC. It is an easy climb to Annapurna base camp. This area is surrounded by the mountains on every side and is known as Annapurna Sanctuary. The area gives you spectacular views of the Himalayas including Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Barah Shikhar, Fishtail (Machappchre Peak).

Day9: Trek back to Sinuwa

Early morning climb a small hill to view the massive mountain views. Back to the Hotel. After breakfast we turn back to Sinuwa with the remembrance of Annapurna south and the giant Himalayan peaks.

Day10: Trek to Ghandrung

We will follow the green valley through Rhododendron forest to Ghandrung, a village set against the backdrop of Annapurna south and other massive mountains.

Day11: Trek back to Pokhara

Today we trek to the village known as Tolka crossing through Landruk. We descend 500m to Kyumi and continue onto Birenthanti, then back to Nayapul and drive to Pokhara.

Day12: Kathmandu Heritage Explore

Fly back to Kathmandu (by Buddha Air – Pioneer domestic carrier). It is 20 min flight HD representative will be at the Airport. Assistance upon arrival and transfer to the Hotel. Explore vibrant and eclectic Kathmandu, artistically rich and an ancient cultural heritage with full of fascinating sights, Kathmandu
Durbar Square and Swoyambunath Stupa, said to be one of the oldest Buddhist Stupas in the world, set high on a Hill overlooking Kathmandu Valley.
Afternoon, explore Bhaktapur also known as Bhadgaon city, home of medieval art and architecture. This city shaped like a conch-shell covers an area of 4 square miles. Pottery and weaving are its traditional industries. This Durbar Square has innumerable temples and architectural showpieces like the Lion Gate, the statue of King Bhupatindra Malla, the picture gallery, the Golden Gate, the Palace of 55 Windows, the Batsala Temple, the Bell of Barking Dogs and the replica of Pashupatinath Temple. Evening free to explore or do some last minute shopping.

Day13: Final Departure

Transfer to the airport for final departure.

  • Any additional costs due to cancelled or delayed flights for whatever reason

FITNESS AND HEALTH:

  • Although good health and a positive mental attitude are essential, you do not need to have prior experiences to participate in this programme
  • Anyone with the good health along with the spirit of adventure can enjoy the thrills of trekking. Crossing lots of ups and downs through lush evergreen forest up to astonishing altitude variations and ecological diversity of amazing landscape will present amazing vistas.

A non-refundable deposit of $350 per person is required upon confirmation of your booking. The balance is due 30 days prior to departure.
If you fail to pay by the due date we reserve the right to cancel your booking and retain your deposit. If you make a booking within 30 days of departure, full payment is due immediately.
